An Important Message from Beatties Ford Memorial Gardens
We want to be proactive in doing all we can within our business to protect you and our employees from potential exposure to COVID-19.
Governor Cooper has lifted the Stay-at-Home Order and some restrictions for our industry effective Friday, May 22nd at 5PM. The cemetery gates will re-open on Saturday, May 23rd from 9AM-5PM each day until further notice. Social distancing is still mandatory and we will be updating our visiting policy soon.
Message from Gov. Cooper, May 12th:
Phase One began on Friday, May 8 at 5PM until May 22nd at 5PM.
“Gov. Cooper: North Carolina likely won’t enter Phase 2 of COVID-19 reopening before May 22.” Governor Roy Cooper said he is pleased with the state’s Coronavirus numbers but doesn’t believe North Carolina will be ready for Phase 2 for at least two weeks.
What does this mean?
Gov. Cooper says that his Stay-at-Home order remains in place.
Our cemetery gates will remain closed through May 22nd or until there is another update from the Governor.
The cemetery grounds are only open for funerals and set-ups until the Stay-at-Home order is lifted. Only 10 people are allowed at each service, and must maintain social distancing to ensure the health and safety of our customers and especially our staff.
The cemetery gates are closed to all customers not attending services. No one should be visiting the cemetery for any reason until the Stay-at-Home order is lifted.
We have reduced our office hours to 9AM-3PM Monday-Friday. We are still conducting all business over the phone. We can be reached at 704-549-9388 during our new office hours.
This is a difficult time for all of us and your cooperation and understanding are greatly appreciated.
